TITANIUM DIOXIDE

  • Nano-particles are very bad for you
  • ANY sunscreen with TiO2 should not be applied to skin
  • Use sunscreen with Zinc Oxide instead
  • Titanium Dioxide is still found in 'natural' sunscreen, so still be careful
  • Any vitamin with this in it should not be ingested: lack of TiO2 is part of what makes PVC vitamins so great

WHOLE FOODS

  • Vinnie only shops at Whole Foods for a specific coffee
  • Serena went to the ready made food section-- every single pre-pepared dish had sugar in it
  • They at least try to be clear about where there products are from, etc etc
  • Vinnie believes Whole Foods is just an expensive scam although Anna quite likes them

JUICE ON A PLANE

  • Flight attendant would let every passenger know that if they ordered juice, they were just drinking juice
  • He was overly judgmental about it, but the sentiment is there
  • Coke is bad too, but a different kind of bad
    • Less sugar content but due to chemicals it's still horrible for your liver
  • People are too easily offended

VITAMIN D DEFICIENCY

  • People spend too much time inside, in front of computers
  • Rickets is actually appearing again
  • Vitamin D is found in juice, but it doesn't compensate for the amount of sugar in these drinks
  • (PVC can help with vitamin d deficiency)

WHY VINNIE HASN'T HAD LUNCH

  • Vinnie hasn't had time to have lunch today due to clients, vermin, etc.
  • He ate on this day: (8am) Coffee, 2 whole eggs, table spoon of coconut oil
  • Diets high in fat can hold you longer
  • Not great to end the day with a giant meal

BODY IMAGE

  • Fear for women in high fat foods due to the media
  • Serena who is so skinny occasionally calls herself fat; bad for the next generation
  • When you hear it enough, you start to believe it
  • Beauty pageants promote starving oneself, low fat diets, etc.
  • Double edge sword: you need to lose weight to get healthier, but you're also okay how you are
  • Fine line between accepting oneself and accepting being fat
  • Some models are too thin that they look like they're dying
